Housing complex in Block PE-2. La Verónica, Antequera (Málaga)

The façade is the hallmark the PE-2 block, composed of five different materials (single limestone, slate, concrete, mortar and glass) which arrange a set of volumes and colors due to its terraces and their coloured surfaces. Buildings are crowned by vegetation and pergolas which alternate in penthouses, creating a indoor garden that has a major role in the visual perception of the complex. The houses are arranged in closed block, enabling a community leisure area. These strategies manage to provide a special identity to the building, minimizing the sense of a closed block and making the passerby see a facade with a relative movement.
