The project for the funeral service building in Camas is characterized by the fragmentation of the volumes of the facade, which provides a lightness sensation, by breaking down into strips and voids that ensure light and transparency into the building. This dematerialization of the façade, which allows illumination in the interior rooms during the day, at night causes the opposite effect seen from outside. The water sheet sets the outer space and integrates the building with the immediate environment. The interior finishes highlight stone and wood, which combined with the vegetation of inner courtyards evoke nature and purity of forms and materials.
